Setting up online payments with Stripe

Let clients pay invoices online with credit/debit cards via Stripe.

Connecting Stripe

Go to Settings > Integrations.

Click "Connect Stripe".

Follow the Stripe onboarding flow to link your account (or create a new one).

Once connected, a payment link is automatically added to every invoice.

How clients pay

When a client receives an invoice by email, they see a "Pay now" button. Clicking it takes them to a secure Stripe payment page where they can pay by card.

Payment confirmation

When a client pays, the invoice status updates to "Paid" automatically.

You receive a notification.

The payment appears in your Stripe dashboard and KAIRO's revenue analytics.

Fees

Stripe charges standard processing fees (typically 1.4% + 20p for UK cards). These are deducted from the payment before it reaches your bank account.

Tips

Encourage online payment to improve cash flow.

Stripe payouts typically arrive in your bank within 2 working days.

You can still record manual payments (cash, bank transfer) in KAIRO.
